Today is Dilya's birthday. Aziz wants to buy a gift, but the shop is far, and the bus is slow. He walks across an old bridge. At the shop, he sees a pretty green dress. "Yes!" he says. "This is the one!"
In the evening, the garden is full of friends. Even the boss comes with a big box. Sam's gift is a small wooden horse. "Eat, eat!" says Sam, and the friends eat cake. Sam eats five pieces and says, "Now I am sick!"
Dilya's sister Malika calls from the train. "I am far away," she says, "but please send me a photo!" Dilya holds an apple in one hand and her phone in the other. The apple starts to fall, but Aziz catches it. Everyone claps. It is the best birthday.
Bugun Dilyaning tug'ilgan kuni. Aziz sovg'a sotib olmoqchi, lekin do'kon uzoq, avtobus esa sekin. U eski ko'prikdan piyoda o'tadi. Do'konda chiroyli yashil ko'ylakni ko'radi. «Ha!» deydi u. «Mana, aynan shu!»
Kechqurun bog' do'stlarga to'la. Hatto boshliq ham katta quti bilan keladi. Semning sovg'asi — kichkina yog'och ot. «Yenglar, yenglar!» deydi Sem, do'stlar esa tort yeydi. Sem besh bo'lak yeb: «Endi o'zimni yomon his qilyapman!» deydi.
Dilyaning opasi Malika poyezddan qo'ng'iroq qiladi. «Men uzoqdaman», deydi u, «lekin iltimos, menga rasm yubor!» Dilya bir qo'lida olma, ikkinchisida telefon ushlab turibdi. Olma tusha boshlaydi, Aziz esa uni ushlab oladi. Hamma qarsak chaladi. Bu eng yaxshi tug'ilgan kun.
